After double tapping on an audio track the main edit window appears enabling fade-in and fade-out functions to be used. In cubasis 2 when an area is selected the selected area latches thus enabling the fade-in/out functions to be tapped multiple times until the desired reduction in amplitude is achieved. I use multiple taps to create silence in the selected area as Cubasis does not have a silence button option. In Cubasis 3 the selected area does not latch forcing a reselection of the area after every tap of the fade in fade out buttons. Is it possible to make the area latch after selection as in Cubasis 2.
