I am working on a piece where I’d like to have a single note instrument (e.g. trumpet) show only Up-stem Voice 1 from a piano part that has multiple voices. Is this possible? I’d like to keep the cue notes as clean as possible for the trumpet (no harmonies or 2nd voices) in case he needs to play that line. Right now the cues show both piano voices. Thank you!
I don’t think so. Extra work, but you could add an additional piano, not included in the score, and cue from that.
