Title: Cubase 15.0.30 Score Editor – selection becomes unresponsive after editing

Cubase version: 15.0.30

Problem:
The Score Editor becomes partially unresponsive after editing elements of the score.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open any Cubase project.
  2. Open the Score Editor in a separate window.
  3. Select an element in the score, such as a chord, bar line, or other score element.
  4. Make an edit or modification to the selected element.
  5. After the edit, the Score Editor stops responding correctly to further selections.
  6. Trying to select another chord, bar line, note, or other element does not work correctly.
  7. The problem persists if the Score Editor window is minimized and then restored.
  8. The only reliable workaround is to close/reopen the Score Editor.

Additional information:

  • The problem occurs in all projects, not just one particular project.
  • The Score Editor is opened in a separate window.
  • There are no locked Global Tracks in the projects.
  • The problem occurs consistently when editing different score elements.
  • Cubase itself does not appear to be completely frozen; the problem seems to affect the Score Editor’s selection/editing functionality.

Expected behavior:
After editing an element, I should be able to continue selecting and editing other elements normally.

Actual behavior:
After editing, the Score Editor can no longer select other elements correctly, making continued score editing impossible until the Score Editor is closed and reopened.

This issue significantly affects normal score editing workflow.
