Selective Levels of Undo in Undo History

A common scenario I have is I delete audio off a track, make a bunch of changes, and then decide that I want to go back and listen to the audio I deleted. I can, but it requires that I undo EVERYTHING. It would be great if I could undo the specific action of “delete” but keep everything else in the session the same. Currently I have to revert back to an older save file, or redo things manually.

Is this already a feature in Nuendo? Either way, it would be great to have this in Cubase.

Did you ever get an answer? I have the same question.

There is something like this in Nuendo, you can read about it in the Nuendo manual under “Undo Branches”

While not an answer to your question specifically, but utilizing Track Versions might come in handy in situations like these.
