I’m running Cubase 14 on my 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro (MacOS Sonoma) and recently got the Gig Performer 5 trial version.
Despite running a completely blank session (besides the GP Relayer VST), I get insane amounts of dropouts while monitoring from Cubase as if I’m running a massive 200+ track session. I adjusted ASIO-Guard settings to no avail. I tried the same setup in Ableton 11 (just using the GP Relayer plugin) and it runs perfectly.
Does someone have any idea what could be causing this? Is Cubase greedy on my Mac’s audio driver compared to Ableton? I’m very lost on why this is happening. Any insights would be appreciated!
