First question - in a string of dynamics (“f” “f-” “mf”) I’m not finding a way to include the minus sign hyphen in the middle one. I’m sure I’m missing something.
Second - time sigs appearing above system text staves; I prefer left aligning to the barline, but is it possible to keep that alignment to a single digit denominator when the numerators are double digit? (Rather doubt it…)
Thanks as always!
- See this thread.
- I don’t know of a way. (Anyone else?)
Thanks, Mark! I had seen your other thread, but hadn’t read all the way to the bottom.
As for the time sig issue, I’m certain the alignment is to a point on the ‘box’ around the entry as a whole - perfectly sensible. That means I would want to apply a consistent x-offset to such cases, and the efficiency question is filtering selections to all occurrences of ‘11/8’ in the completed score while doing clean up.
Can you show me a picture of your preferred alignment of time signatures shown above the staff, @RVSLee?
Daniel, thanks for the attention. If I had been thinking just a little clearer, I would have figured that what I want is (practically speaking) time sigs default centered above the barline and then all of them given a slight rightward offset so that the denominator appears consistently left aligned.

Thanks. I’ve made a note of this, and we’ll think about whether it would be possible for us to implement an option for this in future.
