I know, Im in the process of getting a better machine !
Second day of relatively moderate use i havenât noticed anything different than MacOS 10.14, Still pretty stable, both native and under rosetta
I was updating from Sonoma 14.5- 14.7 but the updater went through and installed Sequoia 15.0! OK I wasnât paying enough attention but there was absolutely no âinbetweenâ log into 14.7 step!
So here we are⊠worked all day in N13 yesterday all was fine . My plug-ins all work ⊠although I donât use Izotope which is a big consideration for many here so I canât attest to that.
Audio interface ( Arturia USB class compliant ) was fine.
Some good news at least!
Sequoia? Itâs not on the Mac. What are you talking about?
The new Mac OS is named âSequoiaâ I suggest you should wait till you are done with your project.
HO! I forgot, I was thinking of Magixâs Samplitude-Sequoia. RĂ©flexeâŠ
Have you tried Sonoma 14.7 (on 14.4.1)? Same advice?
I havenât but will once Iâm done with the Documentary currently in edit stage in Resolve and Nuendo then possibly upgrade Nuendo to 13 or 14.and os to Sequoia.
So far so good here too, only issue seems to be lots of privacy security questions regarding giving access various apps. I hope this isnât everyday
Yes, always safety complications. Hope itâs worth it!
Well, so far my M3 Max feels much snappier, the new window arrangement in the finder is working great even with Cubase and with 2 ultra wides it was needed my end
Iâm gonna test cubase cpu loads but all seems the same so far
good news , looks like this could be a one time thing , not had any dialogs after 3 restarts and also switching from the studio set up to MacBook with nothing connected
Sequoia and Nuendo 13 are working fine on my M3 MacBook. Iâll wait to install it on my Mac Studio because itâs a production machine and iZotope plugins arenât compatible yet.
