I frequently want to set the “Pre-Gain” level in the clip window of all clips in the montage to a specific level - for various workflow reasons using the volume envelope is not ideal for me (I use that for other things). Is there any way to select all the clips and just set them to, say, -3dB in one go or do I have to do it one…at…a…time?
Yes, this is possible. Assuming you have WaveLab 13:
Select all the clips you need, then click on the icon at the bottom left of any clip, then type -3 dB.
