I am setting up a template with Vienna Ensemble Pro and HALion Symphonic Orchestra. I follow the advice of many people who recommend to use different outputs for long and short playing techniques due to the possibility of using different settings, e.g. for reverb.
Now I wonder: If I create a track with HSO’s “Flute Combi” patch, is there a way to define the default playing technique to “staccato” on that very channel?
EDIT / UPDATE:
As usual 5 minutes after posting I find the solution: there is a setting within the HSO interface that allows to define a default playing technique.
