Anyone check this, or is it how it is supposed to work?
Create a set list. to play, keep, whatever.
Adjust a song, on that same set list, then save it… replacing the orig song file.
ok. I can load the song, its has the new adjustments…but, if I activate the setlist. its the old song.
So, this song version, on the setlist is saved somewhere else?

Hi! no worries.
Whenever and wherever you create a song in VST Live, it goes to an “inventory”.
Opening setlist editor is a beast for “multiple setlist” player performers. You can put together as many setlists as you want from the same “song inventory”.
Also you see the total time of your edited setlist.
As soon as activating a setlist, it loads “itself” as a Playlist on the main view.
I just checked this very briefly: I edited a song in a playlist. Then I saved both, song and playlist. On reloading the PL the song was there in its last saved state.
What did you adjust in your song that didn’t make it into the playlists?
yes, try not saving the playlist? not that I know how to save the “setlist”
The point is, If I want to use the setlist, why dont the songs in that setlist load the updated song?
the setlist always updates itself on exit, doesn’t it?
Fk, thanks for your feedback, it seems you missed my point… I obviously am using the beast of a setlist, but wheres the “inventory”…its not the saved song files?
They are in the middle column in the SETLIST EDITOR. Can you make a screenshot, maybe I will see your point better. I guess you saved your project, right?
Yes, I know, I have been using the setlist from day 1.
If you want to help, please read the problem… i don’t need help with the setlist…I want to know why an updated song does not update automatically if that song is in any setlist.

Even more clearly… I forgot to save a song… but I could still load it through the set list I saved. I know this works, because i never used to save songs, but they always loaded in.
Therefore, where does the" “setlist” save the songs, because it cant be the same one that is saved through the save song option.
Update what? The song title, wav files within the song, what exactly you can’t see being updated?

They are within the project file. You can’t find them separately. You can share them accross projects (media bay) but still wont see them as a separated “song files” to move, open, etc

No, that’s not clear. 
That’s why I was asking: What changes did you apply to the song that didn’t make it to the playlist? I edited a song in a playlist and it updated alright.
It would be really helpful if you could provide us with step-by-step instructions how to repro your problem.
And, I forgot, what version of VST Live are you using?
im trying to record it, but it keeps crashing and creating more problems.
The point im making is the save song, and set list are not linked.

Yes, that is more like it…the song list in the setlist middle, is nothing to do with anything, just a record of what has been loaded… its confusing, but i get it
