Set notehead bracket in new Score Editor

Hi Steve,

I’m trying to do this in Cubase 14, but double clicking on a notehead no longer brings up this dialog box. Is there anywhere else I can modify the noteheads to be ‘bracketed notes’ after selecting lower velocities with the logical editor?

Hi Olivero54, I have moved your question to a new thread, because the new Score Editor is so different to the previous one, it makes for less confusing reading.

Regarding your question: select the note, open the Score menu, Notehead, Toggle Round/Square Brackets.

Hi Stefan, thx so much, this works perfectly.

For those wanting a detailed demonstration, see video below of the workflow. (This is also for my reference in case I forget)

  1. Select midi clip
  2. Select all midi notes in midi editor
  3. Open logical editor (custom key command): ctrl opt cmd L
  4. Apply selection parameters: select all notes with velocities less than 80
  5. Open score editor: cmd R
  6. Score → Notehead → Toggle Round Brackets (or Square Brackets)
