Set up issue with UR28M

Apologies in advance if is this is a ridiculous issue…

Just set up the UR28M interface with Macbook Pro and Cubase 7 AI. Installed all updates.

The UR28M seems to be working as a standalone, however when I initiate Cubase I get an error message that states the USB port is currently being used, and the UR28M no longer functions. I get no sound in or out.

Is this an installation issue? Or am I missing something in the setup.

Have you selected the UR28M ASIO driver in Cubase VST Audio section of the Device Setup?

I realized the issue, the UR28M needed to be selected in the Audio midi setup of the mac. Thanks for the reply.
