I purchased Cubase a year or so ago and haven’t been using it nearly enough. I do all of my writing and recording in Logic, but this last week I’ve started doing my mixing in Cubase 12. I’m totally sold on it to say the least.
The one drawback for me is how to reset a channel strip to its default state after I have loaded a Track Preset. I would think that there is a quick way to do this but I haven’t found it. Is there a setting/command that resets the channel strip to its default setting before I inserted a track preset?

One way is to save the initialized strip to a preset and call that up. I prepend the name with an ! to force it to the top of the list.
