Setting Custom Time Signatures for click

Hello guys,

I’m in the Metronome setup, General page. At the bottom: “Number of Bars in Count” is
“use custom time signature”.

OK, I’ve tried changing it 3/4, 6/8, etc. and hit OK. However, it does not change from 4/4 to any custom time signature.

What am I missing please?

What is your main time signature set to?

4/4.
I’ve entered 3/4, 5/4, 6/8 etc. No change. Always 4/4.

Try not having a time signature track, enter the signature in the transport at the beginning of the timeline, 00:00:00. Does that stay correct?

Hi Neoqplease,
Well, I can not find the area in the transport timeline to enter any time signature.
However… I added a “time signature” track. I entered in 3/4, 5/4, 12/8/ 6/8… ALL worked
fine.
So I guess this is the correct way to change one’s time signature. Thanks for the enlightenment.
