Is it possible to set the start time of parts when stepping through parts while recording? I’ve searched the manual and actions/shortcuts and didn’t found anything.
To set a Part Start Time, click on its “Trigger” field, it will take the current position.
yes I know. I must more precise. When recording and switching to the next part that the time in the trigger field is set automatically.
No, that would set the Part trigger each time you change Parts, not so good.
Also as you said you don’t play to the timeline (click), what is your idea behind this?
I only want to use it to see which events can deleted to cleanup the song/project when importing into Cubase. So I only have the events in the timeline which are necessary for the VST.
But I can set the part start time when playing, this is what I do now.
