Setting the Default Zoom Level in Galley View

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to set the zoom level in Galley view to a certain level and lock that zoom level for that project?

There isn’t a per-project setting. There is only the global default in Preferences > General > View, and the size applies to both views the first time they are displayed.

But if you save the project in galley view, Dorico remembers your zoom level on reopening.

You know i tried setting the zoom level in preference to be page height in Galley View, and pressed apply and nothing. Even after relaunching Dorico completely. Don’t know if that’s a technical issue…

“Page Height” won’t work in Galley View, because Galley View doesn’t have pages, at least not in the sense that Dorico would need for zooming. You have to use one of the numeric zoom levels in Galley View.

Yeah, it would be nice if we can insert the number also as a custom zoom percentage.

On my screen I find I want 125% and 175% more often than 150 or 200, so I use AltZ often.
