Is there a way to do this? If not in Preferences, perhaps a registry setting?
Drives me NUTS… I frequently need to go back to an earlier version of Cubase for one reason or another… just to check on an old CPR… and invariably, the thing will take 10 minutes (or 20 minutes with the various incompatible crashes) to scan the plugs. But this is totally unnecessary since my old CPRs don’t -use- the newer plug-ins that are being scanned… I’d like a button/setting that says ‘You Understand The Risks. Take Your Chances’.
