I would like to use k14 metering in cubase, but am reading that cubase meters are not correct? Ill copy the post…

That’s because Cubase’s meter is incorrect, it doesn’t follow the standard for RMS measurements in dB that has been set out by the AES and the IEC. We did talk about that in more detail in some thread or other over here…

I know it’s not onboard in cubase but I use meter plugs k-meter and it’s incredible and cheap.

Bob Katz may not be aware that Cubase’s meter has a button that adjusts to the AES17 standard for RMS. Simply click on the “AES17” button found at the bottom of the Meter and you’re set (obviously, you also have to select the K-System metering desired for your mix/master).
