most people missed this, and since the discourse on how to make cubase and nuendo actually usable seems to have taken off, i am reposting one of my macros in action: this one is able to set the left and right locators, respectivelly, on the fly, using a mouse and a modifier key, irrespective of where the actual project cursor currently is:
i have a pool of similar macros like these, and it indeed is frustrating with each new iteration of cubase and nuendo there is the need to create more workarounds to facilitate a decent, fast workflow. it seems unlikely the coders seem to use their software in real-life situations, or SB may want to initiate a bit more back & forth between the pro community and the dev’s.
