I’ve installed Cubase - I want to use my Samson UCB mic, Samson Carbon keyboard, and (of course) play with loops.
I didn’t think that meant I needed any soundcard - but on running Cubase 7.0 I can’t get any sound out of the computer whilst its open.
Under Devices, I’ve tried the couple of ASIO drivers (and no asio) - but still can’t get a peep out of it.
I understood that no soundcard was required. What else do I need to do?
