My work as Game Sound Designer for about 8 years, there is a big problem I found with Cubase 8 Pro. When I try do some Looping Sound Effect, I always deal with the loop with fade in/out cautiously. so that my SFX sound real great in Cubase 8 Pro, the Loop in Cubase 8 environment sound smooth and uninterruptible. But My game client says the SFX is discontinuous(the game is develop with UNITY), so i checking the Loop SFX in other DAWs (ProTools 11\Logic Pro X), it‘s not continuous and sounds clip, and i Zoom in to found the Loop circle point waveform isn’t fall to zero point, but the loop in cubase 8 Pro sounds Perfect ? This is really bothers me !
So my is suggestion that Cubase can correct response the looping problems, If this always happen without modify, how can i believe keep on deal or check the loop SFX with Cubase 8 ? Hope the issue can be fixed ASAP, because i love this workflow design of cubase. Correct monitoring is the most important principle in every DAWs i think.
