Hi folks,
A Jazz Combo composition (arranged for Alto Sax, Piano, Bass and Drums). The Introduction is provided by the Alto and Bass consisting of an improvised ‘12 Bar Blues’. The Theme (Letter A thru D) is also improvised (by the Alto) over a Harmonic Scheme which consists of a compressed and reharmonized version of ‘On Green Dolphin Street’. An ‘Ad Lib’ Ending is provided by the Alto and Bass.
This piece is in the ‘spirit’ of Eric Dolphy.
There is no audio version of this piece because i have only recently composed it and also because it consists of chord-symbols, no written Melody and is mostly improvised (so therefore Sibelius or Cubase can not perform playback).
