I have a large complex tuplet (38:16) that spans two bars. In another voice in those measures, I would like to shift simple duration notes horizontally to align with specific tuplet notes. I am using alt-arrow to move them, but Dorico limits the range of movement to the two tuplet notes that are mathematically calculated to be on either side of the simple note I’m moving. In an effort to accommodate my desire, Dorico starts moving a tuplet note also, but it is blocked by its neighboring tuplet note. To be clear, I do not want to move the tuplet notes at all. Only the simple duration notes in the other voice.
Once you’ve selected the square corresponding to the rhythmic place of the note, you’ll see a circle corresponding to the note itself. Drag the circle instead of the square.
