seriously, I enjoy the experimentation. I’ll use C5 for clients if needs be but for me C5 was stable out of the box so here’s hoping that C6 will deliver the same

Back to shipping. I have yet to receive an invoice number or tracking number too. I reckon they shipped Monday and are too busy too update the system or they are processing orders and nothing has gone out the door yet… I remember when C5 came out It arrived at my door after 4 days. I remember someone in demark getting it in 3 days.
How does anyone think all the promotional videos are made?
We need to get real here a bit, we are talking about a professional company.
For a start Steinberg own their own dongle, so they can do a better job of securing the investment of legitimate users contrary to the opinions of some and is it any surprise that other companies are now following (or attempting to) follow suit with native workstations using ASIO drivers?
In all fairness there is a huge difference in getting a piece of software to work under very specific circumstances compared to a day in a demanding recording studio. But I am still optimistic…
Can’t we get a heads up on approximately when orders will start shipping in the US?
Way too much to ask for… 
I sent an email to AskNet about when they would be shipping, and they replied and said orders would start shipping Monday the 17th.
But I have no email that says it has shipped yet.
Distribuition begins on Wednesday in Europe.
I believe Steinberg changed their update distribution partner and method in the US. Last time around it was with KEYFAX (aka Steinbergupgrades) but now it appears to be handled differently. I didn’t see any sign of KEYFAX on my order.
So I’m not sure it’s the same process as C5… perhaps it’s better now… or worse? Who knows. I guess we’ll find out soon.
If I may ask … How do you know this ??? And are you sure because The people from steinberg them self told that it would be shipping yesterday … Witch actually did not happen because I Still don’ t have it

Funny, people are waiting, impatient, for Cubase 6 and I’m happy with my Cubase 5 update, received last Saturday. Installed it and now learning it
As I got an e-mail that it can take up to 6 weeks before I get my Grace Period update link to the Steinberg Shop. I will be patiend and building a new DAW 
Today I received another email from Asknet Customer Support which tells me that today Cubase 6 arrives at Steinberg logistics warehouse and shipment is inminent. will begin on Wednesday.
We must be patient. Probably Steinberg have had logistical problems between the official announcement at NAMM and product availability for distribuition.
Odd, I saw a post saying that their copy has been shipped already…
It would be really great if Steinberg could reply here on dates for different regions.
Just had an email with the UPS tracking code. It left Germany yesterday and will arrive by the end of tomorrow.
