Shortcut for toggling Control Room Source

Hi everyone,

I’ve found three threads on the same topic but no answer…

As the newer one was posted in 2020 I try again: any way to set a shortcut for toggling Control Room Source like is possible for main mix? (see attachment)

It would definitely be a very useful one!

Thanx,

Art

Sorry, even if the screenshot should be clear enough I forgot to specify I was referring to Control Room Phone Source…

I agree, it would be useful, and would vote for it, if I had any votes left.

The key commands for the control room are quite limited.

It would be good to have more options that are available for midi remote to be available in the key commands menu.

But as it has already been 6 years, here is something you might want to consider in the meantime…

I use a controller and it is possible with the midi remote editor to set this up.

I use it to toggle between Mix and cue 4, which is set up as my reference track for a/b mix comparison.

Hope this may be of use to you.

cheers

john

Yes,there is a KeyCommand for that.

it should be specified that there is no one that is selective. In my case, and to make things easier in a mixing environment I only have one of the CUEs active (otherwise you have to go through all of them)

the key to look for here is “select source for the control room”

Not shortcuts, but if using a MIDI Remote, you can assign buttons of your controllers to different phone sources:

Hi John,

I’ve set various shortcut on my Novation Launchkey 61mk3 using one custom pad mode but I’m not finding the right command to set…

I’m not finding it… Not in the key control panel Control Room section (I’m on C14pro)

I hadn’t considered this option, actually. I’ll check as soon I’ll have a controller connected, that I have not now.

Thank you all for replying!

Thank you @Pablin_Drummer2 ,

this is for main mix only and I’ve set a shortcut yet but I was looking for a way to set the same for phones

Thank so much, @m.c , this is the way! I was searching the command to set in C14 key commands panel… :folded_hands:

Hi @john_barry I finally have found the solution, as I wrote above, so now I can control this with my two keyboards! Thank you for hint!

Ohh! At the moment that feature doesn’t exist in Cubase. It’s a shame, but that’s the case.
Sorry.

Great!!! I want to check that!

I’ve set my upper right Botton in LaunchKey Mini (the one with the arrow pointing to the right) as it’s not mapped in Cubase (while it is in Ableton Live that I’m not using at the moment)

I think in LK 61 I would map it to a custom pad mod I’ve set yet with various shortcuts (that’s not possible in LKmini mk3)
