Shortcut Opt+Shift+3 not working?

Hello!
I assigned Opt+Shift+3 for the diamond notehead. It doesn’t work.
If I choose Opt+Shift+2 or any other number it works fine.
I have the latest version of Dorico installed and a German keyboard.
Any solutions?

Are you on a Mac by chance? The Opt+Shift+3 key combination is a system command on the German Mac keyboard! Perhaps you could assign another key (or add another keyboard profile).

Yes, I’m on a Mac.
The shortcut Opt+Shift+3 in MacOS (german keyboard) is for #. It doesn’t have a specific as I know (like for example CMD+space). I’ll check the option of using an other keyboard profile.

When I asked you if you were on a Mac it was because Google AI reported “On a German Mac keyboard layout, pressing Option (Alt) + Shift + 3 produces the single left-pointing angle quotation mark, ‹ (guillemet).”

So much for AI !!!

Also, someone had a similar problem with a different key combination — in fact, I cannot use the Shift+Alt+B combination in note entry to get the up-octave B on a Mac – on an English keyboard.

I asked ChatGPT and - as it looks like - it wasn’t able to give me the right information.
