I have a setup where I have all my VI’s in a folder, and the MIDI-tracks that “feeds” the VI’s in another folder. During composing and editing all the VI’s are hidden, because I don’t need to edit them, but sometimes I would like to have a FAST way to select the VI that are connected to the MIDI track I work on. Hope this makes sense?
Is there a shortcut that kind of reveals the instrument connected to a MIDI track?
As it is now I have to open the folder with VI’s - scroll to the VI I want and then click on the “Edit Instrument” button.

There’s a key command called ‘Edit VST Instrument’ which will do this.
