Shorter save times comparable to Pro Tools and Reaper.

I came from Pro Tools (and sometimes Reaper) to Cubase, and one thing I miss dearly from both is the incredibly short save times even on very large projects. They must have a different way of dealing with saving/background backups, because where a fully decked-out film scoring session in Cubase will take up to 30 seconds to save, a very similar session in Pro Tools or Reaper will save incredibly fast. I’m sure this is a deep architecture thing that simply won’t be addressed until there’s a full rewrite of Cubase’s code, but this is a huge advantage that some other DAWs have that should be implemented for the sake of everyday fluidity and workflow in very large sessions.

Thanks for listening!
