How can I shorten a system horizontally (not the last one!)? I have a system containing a large bar only. It will not fit into the preceding one, but I have to insert a page turn after it. If it extends over the whole system this looks weird.

Are there any exact measures for these indents? (I find “counting steps” quite tedious to achieve uniform, repetitive, results.)
Can we see the page? Perhaps you can ‘pull back’ another measure somewhere else on the page, to avoid this ‘one-bar system’, short or stretched.
Or add an extra music frame at the bottom of the page, insert a frame break at the start of this bar to make sure it appears in the frame, and resize the music frame in which this bar occurs. Do this on a custom page template that starts as a duplicate of your Default page template if you need to do this multiple times and/or in multiple layouts.
