I’m probably doing this in the wrong way: I have a bar in which I realise after entering all the notes that all the D’s, say, should be sharp (they are all in the same octave). So I select and sharpen the first, whereupon Dorico marks the second as natural, and so on, so I have to mark each D in turn. On the other hand if I add a sharp during note entry the sharp correctly persists till the end of the bar (that is, the subsequent D’s are not marked and the playback is correct). Is there a way to get Dorico to match this behaviour when I add accidentals to existing notes?
Hi @ke10,
there is a shortcut to select the same pitch to the end of Flow : keep Shift pressed, and double click on the first note: all the subsequent notes with the same pitch will be selected and you can apply the sharp for all of them at once:

You can select them all first, then add the accidental. I don’t know how else Dorico would know for sure what you want.![]()

You can also select a passage and use the note tools popover (Shift-I) and type (without quotes) “D=D#” You can also specify by octaves (like D5=D#5).
