I’m working on a big band arrangement. Baritone sax and trombone 1 have a duet for the bridge, through the 1st measure of the last A section. I want trumpet 2 to take over in the 2nd measure of that last A. The A section has one chord in the first two measures, so the chord symbol is by default “missing” when the trumpet 2 solo starts. How do I show the chord symbol in this situation?
I think you should just be able to add the Ema7(#11) as a local chord symbol on the Tpt 2 staff?
Place the caret on that staff > enter the chord > press Alt/Opt+Enter to close the popover.
