Show chord symbols for a player / instrument

Hello fellow Doricons,

I’m new here, recently moved over from Sibelius to Dorico, so just learning the ropes.
I’m trying to show chord symbols on an instrument (player) and I looked it up in the Steinberg help database and it says to, in Setup mode go to the player and click Player Settings (with a picture of 3 dots) - then make a selection of ‘Chord Symbols’ - but the only options I see are:

Change Instrument, Move Instrument to player, edit names, Edit instrument definition and delete instrument.

Can anyone shed any light on this issue - thanks.

Oh, and is there a recommended course / book that can help one speedily on the Dorico way?

Welcome to the forum, Ian! The “action bar” is at the bottom of the left panel, where you’ll find a button with 3 dots. You can also get this menu by right-clicking on the player card. (The 3 dots that you found are different – on the right side of the instrument label on the player card. Rather confusing.)
