Show chords in slash regions by default

I do a lot of jazz and pop arranging, and except for drummers, any musician that has a slash region will need to know the chords to play over. That means I end up having to turn on the setting “show [chords] in chord symbol and slash region” for multiple instruments in a score. I’d rather this be the default and that I have to turn it off once a score for drums. Is there a way to apply this setting?

Hi @piping_hot_licks, I am not aware of a faster global method to switch that Player setting. It is only available in setup. But you could save a Project Template with those settings.

But if you instead use Chord Symbol Regions, you could show the chords wherever you want, also independently from slash regions. And you can duplicate Chord regions very fast to staff above/below, prolong them, etc. (But probably is not what you need)

Thanks Christian, I will try saving templates with those settings. I use chord regions but that is an extra step to having slash regions show chords.
