What’s the easiest way to achieve showing common time instead of the actual 24/4. And no, I don’t want cut time in case you were wondering.
Shift-M (meter popover)
c = common time (4/4)
, = pickup bar
20 = 20 crotchet/quarter beats in length
Enter
From the next barline onwards it’ll be in 4/4, though of course you can set a new time signature there and then hide it from the properties panel.
