I have chosen “show” in Manual Staff Visibility, yet the staves are not showing in the Full Score in write mode. Please advise.

Welcome to the forum, Jeff! One thing to check is that the instrument is selected for both the relevant flow and layout in Setup. If setup is correct, it might help to post the project or the problematic part of the project here.

Is the relevant flow the current song I am working on?
I am not sure where the problem is or I would post a picture.
It would help if you could post the actual Dorico project file, or a cut down version of it that still demonstrates the problem.
Since you’re a new user here, you may not yet be able to upload files (by dragging into the edit box or using the Upload button), but you can upload the file to a file sharing site like Dropbox and post a link here.
In Setup mode:
Select the Flow with the issue and make sure all the desired instruments are checked.
Also verify that all the desired instruments are checked for the Full score layout.
This is just verifying the simple things. If the setup is correct another possibility is a filter is set.
