I remember you could see the notes when hovering the pointer over the keys in the editor before V8. I have looked in the preferences and can’t seem to find this. It makes it easier to find samples from GA.

Don’t know about the hovering. But if you set the vertical zoom in the Key Editor large enough (not all that big) it will show the note value on the note.
