Hi all,
the subject says it – this is my result:
What setting do I have to change to make the score follow the option I have already set in the notation options? Is there some additional menu?

We’ll need to see a bit more context to be able to offer any helpful advice. Are you able to trim down the project to a passage of a few bars for the instrument in question and attach it here?

Here is a minimal example from a standard orchestral template, no special settings AFAIK.
I also think that it would be better with a full bar rest for the second player while the first player plays, however I do not find any setting for that.
AFAIK, there aren’t any settings that can give you what you want. However, by adding alternating condensing changes and hiding some of the player labels, you can get what you want.

Thank you John.
Well, the setting in notation options clearly does not apply. Nevertheless, Dorico’s condensing capabilities are difficult to live without even if they need quite some amount of manual labour. But as I see it there is definitely room for improvement.
