Show selected harp pedals in score

A question: in an orchestral score, I have opted for writing harp glissandi without indicating the first seven notes, and instead only showing the full pedal diagram (an orchestral harpist advised me to do so). I would like to make the pedal indications for glissandi also show in the full score, so the conductor knows what’s going on - but not show all the other pedal indications. Any advice as to how to achieve this in the simplest way?

In Layout Options, with your Full Score selected, enable “Show Harp Pedaling” (Under Players)
Then, with the Properties Scope set to Locally, select the Harp Pedals Diagrams you don’t need and hide them (Properties Panel > Harp Pedaling > Hide).

If you prefer to display the ones you keep as note names instead of diagrams (maybe better for a full score?), it’s possible: you can set it in the Layout Options as a global setting for the score, or in the Properties Panel when the diagrams are selected.

Thank you! And my apologies, I wrote “diagram” wrongly, I’m having the note names, not diagram anyways. It’s only that there are far more pedal changes I need to hide in the score, but I guess there is no quicker solution. Or maybe I can filter all pedal indications, hide them all and then go and un-hide the ones for the glissandi. I’ll figure out

As a harpist and conductor, I’m intrigued… why are you wanting to show the pedalings to the conductor? Unless the conductor is him/her-self a harpist, my experience is that most conductors would find harp pedalings to be inscrutable gibberish. But perhaps I’ve missed a good reason to show them in the full score?

The aim is to tell the conductor which notes are played in a glissando, without having to write 7 grace notes at the start of the gliss.

Yes, as @charles_piano said, I only show harp pedaling for glissandi in the score  takes less space than indicating ther first seven notes

It may be helpful for the Harp player to see the pedal settings at least for glissandi.

of course! In the harp part, all pedal changes are shown and all 7 note names for glissandi :slightly_smiling_face:
