Show time of score while working

Hi all,

I’m coming from Sibelius and Musescore. In Sibelius and Musescore you can also display the time in the bottom / top bar. So it say 9.4 (where the note is in the bar, meaning bar 9 note 4) and 0:00:23:9 for the time that is in the project (meaning this note will be at 23 seconds and 900ms in the score according to the tempo)

e.g. in MuseScore

Is there a simple way to always show this in the view as well (just for me for monitoring, I don’t want it in the score!)

If you open the floating Transport window

You don’t even need the floating transport: you can click between bars/beats, time in flow, and time in whole project in the time display itself.

But it only shows me, where the cursor for the playback currently is at.
Can I lock the cursor to the active selection?

you have a shortcut for this: Option(Alt)+P

And you may want the playhead to be always visible:
