Show us that a plugin has a A/B slot used/differentiation

In bigger projects, lots of changes, some might be good, some might be bad..

It would be nice to have a friendly reminder that we have a differentiation on the A/B plugin slot.

Currently, it only shows B being selected,

But, if you are on A, and there is a differentiated storing in B, you’d only know if you remembered. Video:

Once there is a differentiation, the little A/B button circle itself should turn a different colour, perhaps the same colour as the bypass initiated button… because, one setting is bypassed over the other.

Really? I don’t see anything. But I agree with you because I understand your suggestion.

When you select B, it turns orange.

I thought your video was a .jpeg. I see now I need to click that little white triangle in the middle…then go to bed. I have spent too long staring at a display.

  1. A and B should be the same color (white), if they are identical in content.
  2. Both should be in a different color (orange), if they are different in content.
  3. To better distinguish A and B, not colors but dark/light inversion should be used.

Yes, exactly what I had in mind

Also side note, normally, until someone does an A/B copy, B follows A. I don’t think there is a way to reset to the default behaviour after someone does an A/B… which they might want to do if they are for sure certain they don’t need a B setting and don’t want to be confused about its existence later.
