Showing different staves in different parts of the flow?

I have a piece with three players: voice, guitar, and double bass. The piece has an intro, a verse, then the main body, and then a coda, currently all contained in a single flow. What I’d like to do is create a lead sheet that shows only the guitar and bass on the intro, only the voice (with rhythmic cues from the guitar) in the verse and main parts, and then all three staves in the coda. What’s the best way to accomplish that?

I think that using Manual Staff Visibility might be your only option.

Thanks! I’ll try that and report back.

If it’s one single piece after all, I’d recommend keeping it in one flow. I guess the sections probably aren’t to be played independently, but consecutively, without pauses in between.
Use rehearsal marks and/or system text to indicate the intro, verses and coda. And/or use one or more Codas (hiding or adjusting the ‘Coda’ text except for the actual coda), that give you the possibility to have a gap or indent at the start of a new section. You can insert as many pseudo-codas as you want.
