I have been using artist 6 successfully with a Roland midi controller for a while now. I tried to use an Oxygen 49 usb controller and it shows midi activity in the transport bar but no sound. I can use a standalone vst and both keyboards work fine at the same time. The Oxygen is broadcasting on channel 1, the roland on channel 2, in cubase the VSTs are set to any channel.
I view the 2 keyboards with midi ox and see activity on the corresponding channels for both.
Win7 home, 8 gb ram. Audiophile 192 PCI sound card. Cubase artist 6.
I get great sound when running previously saved files - just can’t create or add anything more with the usb keyboard
