Shrink midi by 2

Hello,
I am looking for an option on Cubase studio 4 that will shrink (or expend) a certain length of midi.
For example if I have two bars of 4/4 I want to be able to expand it to 4 bars.

In Abelton Live 8, there is a button that shows x2 or :2 . is there anything like that in Cubase?

Thanks for your help,
Guy

Time stretch tool.

In the top bar where you select your cursor tools, click on the small arrow below the normal arrow tool, and select the timestretch tool from there. Use that to enlarge/shrink a midi part and apply timestretch.

Thanks for the reply. I knew about that option but for some reason it doesn’t work.
My midi channel has 705 bars. I need to make every 1/2 to 1/4 and every 1/4 to 1/8 etc.
No other solutions?

Thanks again,
Guy
