I know the interface is set up, I can hear my instrument from the DAW. The mic is new and I have used it with a PA. So everything should be working. I just can’t hear a thing when they are put together.
Input monitoring is turned on?
The mixing dial is midway
Gain is up? SM57 with low volume sources needs some amount of gain…
Simple check: Dime the gain and scream into the mic, does the clip light come on?
