Sibelius soundbank compatible with Dorico?

Hi everybody,

I’m a Sibelius user and considering to buy Dorico.
Sibelius soundbanks are installed on my Mac computer and their quality is sufficient for me. I’ll be obligated to keep Sibelius during a few time yet because I work with it since 20 years. Most off my musical pieces are written with Sibelius. My first question is: to avoid problems of space on my HD, Is it possible to use Sibelius soundbanks with Dorico? Do I have to download obligatory others sounds? If not, is it easy to launch automatically the Sibelius samples? What do you advise me?

Sibelius sounds aren’t compatible with Dorico. Dorico comes with quality sound banks (Iconica Sketch), that are optional to install. If you want to save disk space, NotePerformer works great in conjunction with Dorico (and Sibelius, for that matter) and takes minimal space in the hard drive.

Either case, the sounds are plug and play. No setup required!
