Hi, I am aware that Cubase has disabled side chaining in Elements 9 but wanted to know If this also applies to third party plugins or whether the internal “sends” have been crippled to avoid any kind of link? I tried a couple of freeware and a demo 64bit side chain compressor but although the plugin seemed to function there was no way of sending a signal via the send commands on any channel.
I am assuming that Steinberg has made sure that sends cannot be sent to a third party either? Just wanted to clarify the situation so no more needless searches for that elusive plugin If all of them are ignored!
