Side Panels get shrunken down in some files

Here’s a very weird issue.
Since Dorico 5, some of my files have their side panels shrunken down somehow.
When I move the file to any other location than the one it was in the problem is resolved.
If I change the folder name in which the file is located the issue is resolved.
If I change the folder back to the original name the issue returns.
I can’t say what triggers this behaviour.
What is going on?

CTRL/CMD +7 and CTRL/CMD + 9 toggle (respectively) the visibility of the left and right side panels.

See this thread -

Visibility is not the problem.
The panels actually get reduced in size…

I have never seen such a thing. Can you post screenshots?

Here’s what it looks like for me (external monitor connected to a MacBook Pro). This only happens if the file opens on the external monitor. If it opens on the laptop, it’s fine; and if I then drag it over to the external monitor, it’s also fine.

And once I drag on a corner to resize the window, everything goes back to normal.

I am still encountering these reduced-sized panels when a Dorico file opens on an external monitor, with version 5.1. Once I resize the window, everything goes back to normal. Has anyone else seen this with v. 5.1?

Yes, this problem will still occur in the same situations in which it previously occurred. The good people at Qt haven’t fixed it, and nor have we.
