Sidechain button missing from Arturia Vocoder VST3

Hi, I am using Cubase Artist 8.5. While side-chaining to an FX channel works fine, I cannot get it to work with Vocoder V from Arturia. It shows as VST3 with sidechain input in PlugIn Manager. However, the button doesn’t show up in the instruments header bar. Does Artist 8.5 only support sidechaining to FX?

Sorry, but side-chaining for vst3 instruments is only available in Cubase 9 or later.

does it also must be a Cubase PRO or it works on Cubase Element as well?

Cubase Elements is the minimum version if you wish to use any kind of side chaining.
