I’ve been using Cubasis for a couple of months now. It’s a very cool program. Thanks for it! The cool thing is that it’s integrated with Cubase (which I have on my PC). Let me make a few suggestions:
1. The most important thing. I really miss the opportunity to add my own folder for storing samples. I’m using a different program, and I’d like to store the samples in the same folder with the ability to access different programs. FL Studio Mobile has this option.
2. The interface in gray color is hard to read on a smartphone. The small light gray letters on the dark gray tool window are not clearly visible. Make the text more contrasting (for example, in yellow, or better yet, in white).
3. I would like to be able to reassign the hotkeys. Thank you. I am looking forward to updates.
I mean “My own folder” in My own place, not in Android\data\…
It’s about adding your own folder from an arbitrary (which i prefer) location on the disk, rather than storing samples in the system folder. If you use a different program (such as FL studio mobile), it won’t have access to the Cubasis system folder where the sample library is stored, so you’ll need to create a duplicate folder. We’ll need a command like “Add your own folder” from MY location.
I would like EFX returns to have Channel stripe controls like on the big Analog mixers. This idea was taken to its fullest in the SSL 6000E series where the option for 8 stereo Broadcast channel stripps as a in frame sidecar with full automation, dynamics, EQ and stereo/ MS matrix control( similar to the stereo wide plugin )was a must have option for the 6000E frame which came back in the with the introduction of the 9000 series frame due to customer requests
This gives complete mix control of EFX ( the ability to do pre or post efx send processing without duplicating things in the mix edit window to do just that
I have a lot of suggestions for future updates. But the main ones are:
1 - PDC (plug-in delay compensation). AppStore is full of great fx apps, but they don’t have zero latency. And moving audio and midi left and left after each new au plugin is a pain))
2. Another pain is the ability to group tracks into only one group. For example, I have a “Leads” group, a “Pads” group, etc., and I would like to have an ability to route these groups for Sidechain group or filtering group. This option can save a lot of time and make the workflow very convenient!
I’m looking forward to your next updates, dear Steinberg! Each new version is a huge step towards creating music)) I remember your Cubasis 2, where I could make sketches. Cubasis 3 is a tool for creating entire tracks in different genres for me and my clients… on mobile phones and tablets)) It really blows my mind! Thank you!
Latency compensation for plugins. A fundamental need for a DAW to do the math within the Audio engine. It keeps what you see in the edit window as King. No need to move things.
