Simple Loop: Processor Peaking, Audio Degradation!

Hi,

Just upgraded to C8 and just playing a simple drum loop through Battery.

Starts fine but then the processor activity goes up to 60% and the sound degrades terribly.

Eventually recovers but degrades again after a few seconds. What is the problem here?
